To ensure a safer environment for children in Barangay UP Campus, various initiatives will be implemented. Firstly, public awareness campaigns can help educate the community on the importance of protecting children from online sexual abuse and exploitation. This will include providing information to both adults and children on recognizing and responding to OSAEC. Additionally, community leaders will be trained to better identify, report and respond to incidents of abuse.
Secondly, we will collaborate more closely to ensure better protection for vulnerable children. Joint activities between the BLGU, church and UP academe thru the Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment and other orgt’s to identify cases of exploitation or abuse more quickly and ensure that proper measures are taken to protect victims and at-risk.
Finally, initiatives such as counseling, helplines thru the ECPAT eProtect website and specialized services for victims will be made available in order to provide support for those affected by sexual abuse or exploitation. #safercitiesforchildren #endsexualabuseandexploitationofchildren
