Enhancing Children's Capacities for Advocacy and Participation [ECCAP]
A core program component mainstreaming children’s participation at all levels and in all Lingap’s development programs. Started in late 1990s, it has empowered hundreds of children leaders who actively pursued children’s issues not just in Lingap Board rooms but in their barangay, municipal/city, provincial up to the national and even international venues.
ECCAP includes several projects, including Child Rights and Governance, which involves children’s organizing, representation to local special bodies and national level, child rights advocacy, and children’s congress activity. With your support, we can continue to provide these children with the necessary skills and resources to lead and advocate for their rights.
ECCAP also includes community-led social enterprise development among youth and children and climate change advocacy projects (environment), which enables children to learn entrepreneurial skills while promoting environmental sustainability. By fostering leadership qualities in children, rooted in a strong Biblical foundation, and empowering them to be advocates for their own rights, we believe that ECCAP is contributing to building a child-friendly culture and developing our future leaders. with your help, we can continue to create a more sustainable future by empowering and uplifting our children partners.
